Rite of Passage is a tightly produced quality track which truly symbolises the tech/breaks/garage hybrid we have come to love from Baobinga. If that wasn’t enough his compadre I.D has helped raise the roof even higher with this tune. Baobinga has already released some storming tracks to critical acclaim on previous labels such as Plastic Raygun, Cyberfunk Recordings and Supercharged so we are very excited about this collaboration release and know you will be too!

The title track, Rite of Passage is proof that Baobinga’s sound has evolved over the last couple of years. Originally known for his drum & bass and techno breaks productions his sound has developed and with I.D’s help the end result is a funky masterpiece. Rite of Passage is a pulsing anthem which is predominantly tight and chunky throughout. The slow build up gives way to much rhythmical delights as it progresses with plenty of bleeps! This track is proving very popular in clubs and sets the dancefloor alight whenever it’s played.
Track 2 - Get Retro, on the other hand, has a stabbing house vibe to it. Again in honour of the forever changing breaks formula. That being that there isn’t one! This release will certainly please all tastes and the boys certainly cover all corners with both the title track and the flip. Championed by the big names in the breaks scene with plays on Radio One and Kiss and big name DJ’s we expect the same success to come from this single too. Baobinga & I.D make a great team and hopefully this will be the beginning of a fabulous and successful relationship between two of the breaks world brightest young stars. Stick it on and whack the volume up, we dare you to try and not dance!
