He signed with a top Manager, Vincent Cirrincione “Halle Berry “ and started working right away. Over the next several years he recorded an album with Roger Glover,” DEEP PURPLE “ and another with Rob Fraboni, “ ERIC CLAPTON, THE ROLLING STONES, BOB DYLAN, BOB MARLEY.” Arthur also has appeared in many television commercials, T.V. shows, Movies, and has produced and directed as well. Mike Medora is a true drummer in every sense of the word. He seems to have a unique way of combining styles that gives life not only to the music but the audience as well. “With all the drummers out there it would be very difficult to find another with as much integrity and character. And if you did you would also have to find a drummer that knew how to play for a song.” (Arthur Colombino)
Mike started playing drums at an early age and took private lessons for years. When he was old enough he studied at The Drummers Collective in New York. Mike started playing with different projects in NYC and played numerous clubs and colleges where he got to work on fine tuning his craft but late in 1999 mike suffered a tremendous back injury. This required immediate surgery to repair ruptured disks in his back that required a spinal fusion. Mike had to wait two years to have the surgery because of his insurance company, which made the injury worse. Every Doctor told Mike he would never play again but Mike was determined. After almost a two-year recovery and battling the forces of evil Mike met solo artist Arthur Colombino. They started working on Arthur’s songs and after a few months started playing out to support the CD. Over the last two and a half years Mike has recorded three full length CD’s with Arthur Colombino Band and is receiving great reviews in 2006.
