alex gnecchi, co-founder of indiealliance, is a dj and a producer since 2002, that has worked on several projects for independent labels like soc sub (mexico), and stranamente music (italy), gaining the support of different djs and producers from around the world like, mike shiver, m.i.k.e. a.k.a. push, enrico, morty lines and many others.
indiealliance is a joint effort to build a solid platform for new electronic music artists and to provide the opportunity to share their talent with the world as a big community.
indiealliance offers up its first set of releases ranging from downtempo to minimal to progressive house. the incognito traveller comes through with two excellent downtempo tracks, the first of which features contributions from top class musicians: spectacular guitarist daniel elmes, sultry vocalist antonia issa and trumpet virtuoso malcolm aiken. the second, very nocturnal track, is a much more relaxed affair and opens up spaces for the travelling mind with the ebbing and flowing of acoustic guitars. lay back and enjoy.
alex gnecchi delivers his first ep as a solo artist for indiealliance, "daylight," with two themes that flow smoothly with an easy progressive house feel.
two massive experimental-progressive and minimal tracks here come right from arkitekto and both manage take us to a higher state as we start dancing to this wicked "light city ep."
toubi mcweird gets down all the way from germany and produces a top level minimal techno track: "glucose."
igor figueroa also comes up with two electronica tracks with different moods showing a definite ability to experiment on shifting styles. the ep is brilliant: "until the end" and the deep house banger (featuring a collaboration from argentinian mariano favre), "breathe," are surefire floor fillers. excellent stuff from all!
