An experimental solo artist perveying the fine fruits of love, life and all things sacred. Imagine Cave, Bowie, Numan and Cohen rolled into one, a dash of morality, oxygen depravation and madness, an amalgamation of dark and glam-edged melodies, and driving rhythms reminiscent of Sisters of Mercy, Rammstein and The Cult. Something different is promised.
Albert Greg has written, recorded and produced all his own albums. He began his music in 1984 as drummer for army rock band 'Fortress Torn'. In 1987, he joined investigative garage band 'No I.D.' as a contributing songwriter and drummer, with the band releasing the album 'Out There' a year later. In 1990, as guitarist, songwriter and vocalist, he formed the unique and originals-only troupe 'AIR' and played in and around Johannesburg for 8 years. EP 'Aninvasion' and double CD 'Collection' is the showcased culmination of the bands amazing experiences gigging live.
In 1999, Greg relocated to Cape Town and began work on his first solo project, 'World', completed in 2000. His second solo album 'No Control' was concluded in London in 2002. 2004 offerred 'Serendipity & Beyond'. 'Experience' in 2005, and the eagerly awaited 'Spent Nucleus' in 2006.
Since 1986, Albert has been involved in dozens of collaborations ranging from Dance projects, song writing for other bands, movie soundtracks and stage scores.
