Lola Spriggs is one of Canada's great all-original female rock vocalists. Lola's electric performance of catchy up-beat rock numbers, and powerful love ballads, draws you into her world with her hypnotic sensuality and high-energy vocals. A performance that will truly move you.
A native Montrealer, Lola started her singing career performing musical improv in a trendy night club in Ottawa Canada. Taking the town by storm, she soon flooded the local stations with radio jingles and Government musical promotions that were also used on the international airwaves.
Lola's award-winning vocals have rocked audiences with electrifying, passion-packed and playful performances in clubs and congress centers throughout Ontario and Quebec, averaging 75 shows per year. In fact, Lola has opened for some of Canada's most notable acts over the years, including Rock and Hyde, Parachute Club, and Pursuit of Happiness.
Lola is no stranger to regular radio rotation with singles such as The Hammer, Woman of the World, Out of my Hands, The Look, and Here to Stay. Her first EP of 2004 "Expressed" hit #23 on the independent album charts in April 2004. Lola donated 100% of the sales proceeds to a local charity.
Lola's current CD "Lifescrapes" has been worth the wait. Lifescrapes delves into the core of Lola, packed with a hearty mix of soulful rock and edgy roll that entices. Lola's high-energy rich award-winning vocals and raw sensuous emotion don't disappoint. Lola has many influences, however Janis Joplin and Steve Tyler have inspired Lola the most. Other influences include Mick Jagger, Bryan Adams, Sheryl Crow, and Bonnie Raitt just to name a handful.

Lola's current CD "Lifescrapes" is an 11-song CD of all original numbers. Lifescrapes has been distributed to well over 800 commercial and internet radio stations around the globe. It is available for purchase at favorite music stores including HMV and CD Warehouse, as well as online from HMV/Amazon.ca or from Lola's official website.
Her debut 4-song CD "Expressed" was released in the spring of 2004 and hit #23 on the local indie album charts in April.
Lola's collection of all original songs that have been recorded over the years is extensive, however those that have received regular play on local radio stations include The Hammer, Out of my Hands, The Look, Here to Stay, and Woman of the World.
Ted Gerow of the famed Five Man Electrical Band produced "The Hammer" and Canada's own Frank Levin produced "Woman of the World".
